Bay Rum Aftershave Balm
Our Bay Rum Aftershave Balm sooths skin without leaving it greasy or looking shiny. Made in small batches to ensure highest quality, our formula is both alcohol-free and paraben-free and we use only natural essential oils for fragrance. Speaking of fragrance...this is a Bay Rum unlike any other. It is smooth and refined without being weak or fleeting. Top notes of citrus give way to bay rum and clove, which rest on a base of sandalwood and a hint of ylang ylang. This Bay Rum balm is also great as an all purpose lotion, and with its lingering spicy, woodsy scent it is the perfect counterpart to our Bay Rum Cologne.
Crafted with:
- Organic Aloe Juice, Organic Coconut Oil, Vegetable Glycerine to moisturize.
- Witch Hazel and Black Willowbark Extract to sooth skin and reduce redness.
- Neem Oil for antibacterial and antimicrobial properties.
- Premium Jamaican Bay Rum Essential Oil (Pimenta Racemosa) and blend of other Essential Oils for fragrance.
Bottled in either 4 oz frosted glass.

Flawless - save for one thing

A very smooth, spicy bay rum that lasts longer than any other alcohol-based version I've found. Also zero burn, just coolness at first with a gentle warming a few minutes after applying.
Simply put, the best bay rum aftershave you can get, or should, for that matter.
ONE DRAWBACK: Even though it is much thicker than the runny alcohol-based bay rums, it still has the same narrow cutout for dispensing. Ever try to get ketchup out of a full bottle? It's like that, only smaller. I do not know how to fix this, but getting the good stuff out of the bottle was the only drawback!

Purchased a travel size bottle and will be ordering a larger size. Love the fact that its alcohol free and the first ingredient is not water but aloe juice. Hydrates skin well, very soothing. Absorbs quickly. I only gave this four stars because Bay Rum is new to me. Smells clean, not chemically. I think this product is a must for people new to the wet shaving world. Would absolutely recommend it. Thanks to Shaving101.com for a good solid review of a great product.

Feels and smells fresh and clean

Decided to give it a try, so I ordered the trial size. Liked it so much - and my wife did too(!) - that I ordered the regular size. Now I'm coming back for my third time. I love the smell - clean and fresh but definitely not overpowering - and the feel - silky smooth going on. I used to skip shaving on my days off sometimes. Now, I shave so I can use this!

I love how smoothly it applies and how little you need for the entire face to feel refreshed. My only wish is that the fragrance lasted all day. It's there for a few hours but not long enough since I like it so much.

I've been on a quest for an alcohol-free bay rum aftershave for quite a while and the Google Machine had me convinced it didn't exist. Luckily I stumbled across this. GH has produced the perfect product with this balm. The scent is old school bay rum but definitely not over powering. The consistency and viscosity of the liquid is perfect and the bottle dispenses at a rate that prevents you from wasting any. I've previously used Trumper Skin Food and Proraso Crema but this is my new post-shave balm. Thanky you for making this!

Soothes, smooths and that sublime scent lingers for hours. Great alternative to traditional alcohol based bay rums aftershaves.

I've been looking for a bay rum aftershave balm for a long time.Gilbert Henry hit a grand slam with this one.It has a great bay rum scent,wonderful skin conditioning and unlike most bay rums,the scent lasts a good amount of time.Great stand alone balm,or apply after a bay rum splash.

This aftershave balm works very well at soothing skin after a shave but the smell is not the bay rum scent I was expecting. It seems a little heavy on the cookie spices and light on the citrus. Overall a good product and would be great with a more traditional bay rum scent.

I really love this aftershave. I can't praise it enough. This is my weekend fragrance. I save it as a special reward for my week. The sent is invigorating. Not only do I use it as an aftershave for the areas that I trim back, but I rub an ample amount into my beard. It softens and smooths out my wiry beard hair. Sometimes I even apply it when I haven't shaved just for the fragrance. The scent is enduring but not overpowering and my wife always compliments me.
